About Us

We are a State Licensed, Medicare/Medicaid Certified and Joint Commission Accredited Hospice Care provider. The mission of our Hospice is to provide quality hospice care to patients with a limited life expectancy and emotional support to their families. The primary goal is to improve the “Quality of Life when the Quantity of Life is limited”. The Hospice program encompasses the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of the patient.

We are JCAHO Accredited. Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care organizations standards deal with organizational quality of care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.

No job is too big or too small for the hospice team. We help in many ways including financial planning, insurance information and health care issues. Our Services

The services that the Medicare/Medical Hospice Benefit covers are:

  • Doctor services
  • Nursing Care
  • Medical equipment (such as hospital beds, wheelchairs or walkers, oxygen concentrators)
  • Medical supplies
  • Medications  to control pain and other symptoms
  • Home health aide and homemaker services
  • Physical and occupational therapy
  • Speech therapy (to help with problems such as swallowing)
  • Social worker services
  • Dietary counseling
  • Emotional and spiritual counseling to help the patient and family with grief and loss
  • Short-term in-patient care in the hospital, including “respite care”, which is a service designed to provide family members a short break from caring for their loved one at home
  • 24/7 Nursing Care (Continuous Care)
